And because I have so much experience of talking to authors, I know how to put them at their ease, tune in to their wave-length and encourage them to give of their best.

I have been making sound recordings for nearly five years. In the last couple of months my interviewees have ranged from Orhan Pamuk to Tony Benn. My interviews are always well researched, which authors greatly appreciate. I have always read their books before the interview, for example, rather than turning up and saying ‘So tell me about your book, then…’
